If you search the website for which social media is professional, the first result will be LinkedIn, followed by Facebook. According to other information I found about these two platforms, LinkedIn is a professional social media with a clear position, but it does not show whether it is the most popular among students. As for Facebook, the data shows that it started to be very popular among young people, and then it started to be gradually liked by older people. Compared to LinkedIn, Facebook is more widely used, and it can also serve the purpose of entertainment socialization than being very professional.

For privacy access and permissions. There are times when we choose to make our privacy more secure and we choose not to make information public. For example, with WordPress, we can choose the public availability of posts. As well as our website, we can choose to make it public or not. It’s a way to filter our information for our readers. There are times when we do this because we want to make some of our information public to receive restrictions. Often times the information we post is not targeted to every member of the public, but to a specific group.

If I want to come to build my social platform and reputation. I first need to know if I want my information to be public or who I want to be seen by. If I have a specific group of people I want to be seen by, I will post information and build myself up according to what is relevant to that. For example, if I am trying to find a job, then my information and pages need to look professional and I need to show job-related information such as my work history and resume.
